SAN DIEGO, February 19, 2026 — As Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools gain popularity in document translation, legal and immigration professionals are warning of the growing risk that automated translations are being used for high stakes filings where even minor errors can lead to costly delays, rejected applications, or legal consequences.

In response to the rising demand for accountable certified human translation, Interpreters Unlimited (IU), a national language service provider, is doubling down on humans. IU has just launched Certified Translation by Interpreters Unlimited™, a secure online portal, developed in partnership with AcudocX, designed to streamline access to legally accepted document translation services across the United States.

Through the platform, individuals and organizations can securely upload files, receive clear rapid pricing and turnaround details, approve projects, and track progress from start to finish entirely online. The service is designed primarily for individuals who need translations for immigration paperwork, birth and marriage certificates, asylum materials, medical records, academic transcripts, and legal filings. It also supports professionals working in healthcare, law, education, government, and corporate environments.

While AI based translation tools offer speed and convenience, they can not provide certification, legal accountability, or guaranteed acceptance by courts and federal agencies such as U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Translations handled through Certified Translation by Interpreters Unlimited™ do just that, meeting strict quality standards and including certified documentation that is accepted by courts, government agencies, school systems, and other official entities.

SAN DIEGO, September 22, 2023 — Fresh off of being named to the 2023 Nimdzi Interpreting Index, the ranking of the top 34 largest interpreting service providers worldwide, Interpreters Unlimited (IU) has now been named to the Nimdzi Local Leaders in Language Services List in the first year of this new ranking. On the inaugural Local Leaders List, IU came in 33rd out of all Language Service Providers (LSPs) in North America. While the Nimdzi Interpreting Index covered interpreting companies only, the Local Leaders in Language Services List covers companies providing all language services from interpreting to document translation, machine translation, transcription, localization, subtitling, voice overs and much more.

Nimdzi Insights is a market research and consulting company focusing on international trade & development, language services, language technology, localization programs, and strategic investing in globalization processes. Through intense research, data collection and analysis, they compile multiple Language Service rankings each year. They are called Nimdzi Insights for a good reason, as their rankings and lists provide insight into who the top players are in the Language Service Industry year after year.

For their annual lists, Nimdzi looks at the global market for language services as a whole, as well as in-country markets and leaders in specific industry verticals and services. In this new Local Leaders List they looked at the top providers per geographic region based on 2022 revenue. The Local Leaders list covers practically every region of the globe from North and South America to Europe, Asia, the Middle East and on. North America was the market that contained the majority of the largest LSPs with 45 making this list, combining for 6.4 billion dollars in revenue in 2022.

This list is just one of multiple honors that IU has received over the past couple of months. Most recently they were recognized as a San Diego Business Journal Outstanding Social Responsibility Finalist Honoree  and won for the San Diego Business Journal Leaders of Influence in Advertising PR & Marketing. The awards honor organizations in San Diego County based on their philanthropy and contributions to the local community. All honorees were published in the August 28^th print and digital issues and will appear again in the September 11^th issues.

IU is extremely proud of this honor as their operations are based on helping others in the local community and beyond. It is something near and dear to their heart as an organization. As a Language Service Provider, IU actively contributes to the betterment of society through their core language services along with their extensive philanthropy, charity, and volunteerism.

The language services that IU provides ensure that diverse, underserved, and marginalized communities can access critical information, essential services, and opportunities when they need them. Whether it’s translating immigration documents for a family urgently seeking asylum, interpreting for a Limited-English Speaking patient in an emergency room, or providing American Sign Language for a Deaf child starting school, their dedication to linguistic inclusivity creates a more equitable and accessible society.

Giving back locally, nationally, and internationally is a big part of the IU company culture. They encourage others to get involved and do whatever they can to help their community and the people around them.
